Mining Learnership

Exxaro Coal Mining offers a development opportunity to persons interested in the mining field.

The learnership consists of structured unit standard based learning combined with practical/ workplace experience.

In November 2006, Kumba Resources Limited unbundled, and Kumba’s coal and other assets merged with Eyesizwe Coal to create Exxaro Resources Limited. Exxaro has since grown to become one of the largest black-empowered and diversified mining companies in South Africa. The company operates facilities and offices in Africa, Asia, Europe and Australia. It’s listed on the JSE and, on 31 December 2021 had assets of R75.7 billion and a market capitalisation of R53.4 billion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Grade 12 I Standard 10 with an E symbol or 40% and higher pass in English and Mathematics.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be successful in:

Selection process.

Resides within reasonable proximity to Matla Coal (proof of residence required).
